I had plans 7-8 years ago to do the trail and let life get in my way. I have in the last few months made up my mind that I will be hiking the trail this coming spring and hope that I have the endurance that you have to see my journey through to the end! Good luck and happy trails!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00736567206726525967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1440707303360732526.post-43396809152848303762012-06-28T20:01:46.529-04:002012-06-28T20:01:46.529-04:00Surely have enjoyed reading the various posts that...Surely have enjoyed reading the various posts that you write or are posted by others. You are truly following your dreams and are inspiring me to keep trekking forward with mine (Even though mine requires countless hours of reading and studying-not quite as fun) but this passage reminds me that I want to be where I am today, and that I need to keep going even when the going gets tough. Thanks for the inspiration - I love you.
AldenAldenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14533067615195763643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1440707303360732526.post-21834363270043611932012-06-26T16:42:09.767-04:002012-06-26T16:42:09.767-04:00Day star so happy to see you and the group still t...Day star so happy to see you and the group still trekking forward. Wish I was still on trail. I had the surgery on my achilles, our was way worst than the mri showed. I had a 90% tear, and dead heel bone and tons of scar tissue. No wonder I was in do much pain for 500 miles. So the doc fixed it right this time. It'll take time and months of exercise but I plan to hike next year again, either the PCT or go back to the AT at BLAND where I broke and start there and then flip flop back and go from bland to springer. The body broke, but the spirit is strong. I'mextremely proud of you, pants and gribley. Keep on trucking! it was great to meet people like you on the trail. Folks dont understand the desire to walk the trail unless they go do it. Words can't explain the true feelings!
Take care
Corona SamTracy Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03409071727621170977noreply@blogger.com
